Research Related to Fashion/Makeup Linked to Genre

Within this moodboard, contains different examples of fashion, makeup and different techniques for inspiration for a indie magazine. Most of these examples have either glitter or brightly coloured makeup on, this is done to make their photographs more professional. However, most of these images are very drastic and grab all the attention off the viewer. I think for my music magazine I will create more of a natural look, such as simple makeup and messy hair.

Photoshoot Images

In my magazine photoshoot, I included a range of different locations while the model wears appropriate clothing for the magazine genre, Indie. The model wears denim with denim, skirt and jacket, while changing top throughout the shoot. I took a range of angles and lighting positions to see which photos turned out the best, I did this so it gave me a large variety to choose from later on when producing my magazine cover and double page spread .    I decided to take my photos outside as I thought it suited my style and genre better and also appeal to my magazine audience.                                                     ...
